We Did It! Adena Power Wins People’s Choice at NREL’s IGF

The excitement is still buzzing here at Adena Power! We’re pleased to announce that we recently took home the People’s Choice Award at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Industry Growth Forum (IGF) in Denver.

The IGF is a huge deal in the cleantech world. It brings together the brightest minds in clean energy – entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts – to showcase innovations and accelerate the clean energy transition. This year was no exception, with fierce competition from over 211 applicants vying for just 40 spots.

What made us stand out was our focus on sustainable energy storage solutions using sodium-based batteries and domestically sourced materials. This approach resonated with the IGF crowd, and we were honored to be chosen as the People’s Choice.

This award is a huge validation of our hard work and dedication. It shows the potential of our technology and the growing public interest in sustainable energy. But the IGF is about more than awards. It’s about connections. The event fostered nearly 1,500 one-on-one meetings between startups and investors, creating a space for collaboration and progress.

Winning the People’s Choice Award is a major milestone for Adena Power. It’s given us valuable recognition within the industry and opens doors to future funding and partnerships. This win fuels our passion to continue developing our sodium-based battery solutions and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future. The cleantech landscape is bright, and we’re excited to be a part of it!
